Inspiration & Mont-Tremblant Fun!

One thing that I love doing is writing, that's why I created my own blog. This is somewhere where I can express my feelings and thoughts and maybe share a few tips to some of you. The past few months I haven't had any inspiration to come on here and do those things. I've tried to come up with things to write about but anything I thought of wasn't that interesting to me and I couldn't really bother to create a post or take any pictures.

A few days ago, I was given my grandfathers Cannon DSLR camera which he used all of the time. He recently past away and I was asked if I would like to keep his camera. Without a second thought I said yes! I've wanted a nice camera for awhile now but this one is special because it was his. Yesterday I went to Mont-Tremblant in Quebec with my mom, my best friend Francesca and her mom. I thought this trip would be a great opportunity to try out my new camera! It was a lot of fun and extremely beautiful due to the Fall colours.

I was looking through all of the pictures that I had manged to take and I suddenly had inspiration to post them on my blog. It's funny what things inspire you and mine just happened to be this trip with my very special camera, so here you go!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Small Target Haul.

Hi everyone! I would just like to start off saying that I'm really sorry for not posting in two weeks! I was pretty busy with studying for school exams. My exams are now over which means more time for blogging! This weekend I went to Target for the last time. Every single Target store in Canada is closing. I was really sad when I heard the news so I decided to go and buy some things on sale.

The first thing I decided to pick up was a Rimmel London Kate lipstick. I've heard so many amazing things about this line so I thought I would try one out. The color that caught my eye was 102 Rossetto. I really enjoy pink lips and this one I thought was beautiful!

I also purchased the Scandaleyes waterproof eyeliner in the shade 005 Nude by Rimmel London. I didn't own a nude eyeliner before this one. Black eyeliner sometimes makes your eyes look smaller so I wanted one to brighten up my eyes and make me look more awake. I've tried this out once before on my waterline and it did everything I hoped. I definitely suggest to buy a nude eyeliner if you want your eyes to appear bigger and more awake.

I ran out of shampoo and body wash around the same time so I needed to pick some up. I like to try new shower products so that's exactly what I did. Almost everyone seems to like TRESemme hair products so I bought the TRESemme Gentle Hydration shampoo for all hair types. It has a pretty neutral smell so nothing too crazy to interfere with my other products. I haven't tried this out yet but if I love it, you might see it in an upcoming favorites post. I also needed new body wash. It seemed like I had smelt every single one they had at Target before coming to a decision. I ended up getting the Dove Purely Pampering Nutrium moisture in the scent coconut milk with jasmine pedals. This body wash smells so good and clean, I can't wait to try it.

The last two things I purchased are clothing items. Believe it or not, I didn't own a flannel before this one! It seems like every girl loves flannels around this time of year so I finally got one. I love all of the colors and how soft it is. I've already worn it after buying it yesterday and  I really enjoyed how it looked  over a black tank top. This flannel was also 50% off so that's a plus! The next thing I bought was this super cozy pink robe. I've been wanting a rope for awhile because I didn't own one and this one was on sale, so I decided to get it. It is extremely soft and it's in my favorite color.

I'm very happy with everything I purchased and I can't wait to use some of the products. I'm pretty sure this is going to be my only Target haul because Target does not exist in Canada any more which is really sad:(  I hope you all enjoyed my Small Target Haul and please let me know in the comments if you would enjoy to read more hauls from me. I'll talk to you next week with another post!

December Favorites.

This year flew by and now the last month 2014 is over. I am very happy to start a new year and a new chapter. This month I have some really great products that I have been loving and would like to show all of you! Here are my favorites for the month of December.

The first thing that I've absolutely been loving this month is the Revlon Lip Butter in the shade 047 Pink Lemonade. I really love the color and the color pay off of this lip product. I enjoy lip butters over lipsticks mainly because they are a lot more moisturizing. This leaves feeling soft and a very pretty light pink color. This shade is great for me mainly because I don't like wearing dark lip colors and this is the perfect shade . I also think that the packaging is really cute.

I recently received the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream and the Face Cleanser for Christmas and I have been loving them! I haven't been using these products all month so I guess it doesn't count as a December favorite but I thought I would mention them to you. I have used both of these products together the last week and I can already tell a difference in my skin. The Ultra Repair Cream is very thick and leaves my skin super moisturized. Usually in the winter my skin is dry so I am extremely happy with this cream. My face hasn't been breaking out as much either. My skin is a lot smoother, clean and fresh. If you couldn't tell already, I absolutely adore these two products!

I don't wear a lot of makeup but when I do I like to wear mascara. I have tried out a few the past couple of months and my favorite is the L'Oreal Lash Out Butterfly mascara. The first few times I tried this mascara it didn't seem anything special to me. When I used it again I realized that it was better than my others. The formula of this mascara is pretty thick but it doesn't leave my lashes with clumps. It is very lengthening and volumizing. I also really like the butterfly winged out look that the brush of this mascara wand leaves. This is currently my favorite mascara that I definitely recommend.

December is the holiday month which means Bath & Body Works comes out with all of their holiday products. My favorite is the Winter Candy Apple line. I've been using the fragrance mist the most. I really enjoy this yummy scent because it is not too strong or too sweet. I love wearing perfume but sometimes the intensity of them give me headaches so I've recently stated wearing fragrance mists. This month the Winter Candy Apple scent has been my favorite and I have worn it almost everyday.

The last product that I have been loving this month are body butters. They are perfect for the colder months due to the fact that my skin is very dry. I love using this after a bath or a shower to really moisturize my skin. My favorite body butters are the ones from the Body Shop but I just ran out of mine! I'm going to purchase a new one but in the mean time I will be using this one from Bath & Body Works in the scent Carried Away. This smells great and is also very moisturizing.

My last favorite of December is blogging! I started this blog in September not knowing a lot about it. I would write a couple of posts and then take a huge break in between each upload. This month I have had so many ideas and I've just really been into blogging. I have re-made my blog banner and the whole look. I've uploaded a few posts and I have written down many more. 2015 will be full of blogging and I can't wait! I love writing down my thoughts on here and it is so cool that people around the world see what I have to say. I hope you have been enjoying my blog as much as I have:)

Thank you for reading about my December Favorites! Please tell me what you favorites of this month are and what blogs you want to see from me this year. I would really love to know. I will see you soon with another post!:)

New Years 2015!

Hi everyone, I can't believe that 2015 is here! It feels like I was just celebrating the end of 2013 with family and friends. 2014 was such a great year. I did so many fun things with my family and friends and have made so many amazing memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. It feels surreal that another year is over. Its crazy how fast time flies by!

Every year almost everyone makes New Years resolutions that we try to accomplish and then never do. It's so funny how a new year makes everyone feel so determined and inspired to try new things and make goals, we feel so inspired for about 2 weeks... and then we forget about our resolutions and move on. This year I'm truly going to try to complete my New Years resolutions.

One of my resolutions for this year is something that everyone says and that is to workout more. I already do enough physical exercise due to the fact that I am a figure skater who skates 5 times a week, but I need to do my exercises that my coaches give me to do at home. I know that I need to do these but I never get around to doing them. My parents always tell me to do my off ice training but I don't listen. This year in 2015 I will do my at home training... or at least try to:)

Another one of my resolutions for 2015 is to procrastinate less. This is another thing that a lot of people want to accomplish every year but it doesn't happen. I procrastinate a lot pretty much on a daily basis with my homework, cleaning, and more. Everything gets done at the last minute. This is something that I'm going to try my hardest to do but we will see what happens:)

I hope you guys have a wonderful New Years Eve with your family and friends! Try to make some resolutions for 2015 but also try to accomplish them:) I hope you liked reading a different kind of post than I usually do. Please leave a comment telling me if you did! I will see you next week!
